About this activity

What to do

The Isle of Spice awaits! On this tour, you get to experience the perfect introduction to the island through its nature and spices, with panoramic views of its stunning landscapes and architecture; if you are looking for an excursion filled with awe-inducing moments, this is it!

Your tour starts as you hop onto the transportation and drive through Saint George, the capital of Grenada, and through several fishing villages as you make your way north through the west coast main road. During this journey and along the road, you’ll get to observe the sights of the coastal Georgian architecture and the Caribbean Sea.

Stop at the Concord Falls for a refreshing dip in the plunge pool surrounded by the sounds and sights of the rainforest, to then make your way to either Gouyave Victoria Nutmeg Station or the nearby Douglaston Estate, where you’ll learn about the aromatic spices the island is so famous for. Gouyave is the fishing capital of Grenada and worth coming back to for the famous Gouyave Fish Fry.

Finally, your transportation will take you to the Grand Etang rainforest 1,900 ft (579 m) above sea level. This forest is guardian to an ancient volcanic crater lake and the Mona monkey, so be on the lookout and keep your cameras ready!
